The spirit of Christmas is alive at the McGregor Country Christmas! A family fun two-day event featuring unique Christmas lights perfect for the most amazing social media pics. All families can enjoy live music and entertainment. Kids can ride the Christmas trains and slide down REAL snow slides. Kids can also play Christmas games to win prizes and presents for themselves or their loved ones in the “North Pole” indoor venue. Santa Claus will be visiting to hear your Christmas list so be nice not naughty! Don’t miss out! Mark your calendar for this FREE Christmas holiday event.
Do I need to pay for parking?
No. You can park anywhere in McGregor. 3rd Street will be blocked off for the event.
Is this an indoor or outdoor event?
The Country Christmas is both indoor and outdoor. 3 blocks will be blocked off near and around the Exchange Event Center to accommodate all the attractions and vendors! There will be Christmas displays and Christmas trains in the outdoor area. The Stanley Ford North Pole is an indoor 10,000 sqft. building completely transformed into a winter wonderland featuring Santa Claus, kid’s games, a Santa’s workshop for kids sponsored by Germania Insurance, pony rides, and a petting zoo. And of course, the real snow slides sponsored by SpaceX will be located outdoors.
Will there be food vendors?
Yes. Here’s the amazing list of food trucks that will be at our Country Christmas:

What is unique to the Country Christmas that you won’t find elsewhere?
The amazing oversized light displays are perfect for the unique IG pic you’ve been looking for. The authentic live music centered around the Christmas spirit. It is a total immersive Christmas experience.
Is Country Christmas a free event?
YES! There is no admission charge. There is NO charge for kids to ride the Christmas Trains or sled down the SpaceX snow slides.
There will be a free crafts area called Santa’s Workshop sponsored by Trane. There will be free kids’ games to play and win tickets for kids to trade in for prizes and Christmas gifts for their families. Food will be sold through our vendors. There will be more FREE candy canes and FREE hot cocoa than you’ve ever seen!
Will there be live music?
YES! An amazing lineup of artists including Sami Brown and the Purple Hulls PLUS a special Christmas set by Journey Community Church that you don’t want to miss!
Did you say real snow?
YES! Kids can enjoy sliding down REAL snow slides in McGregor! The Swiss Alps snow slides sponsored by SpaceX will be a blast for every kid. Be patient as the lines are long for this attraction but well worth it!
Why a Country Christmas?
Because we believe the spirit of Christmas positively lifts the spirit of a community. Our primary community is McGregor, to serve them with an amazing family-centric event that we hope to grow into a Central Texas holiday stop.
Will alcohol be served at the Country Christmas?
No alcohol but you can always visit our local businesses in short walking distance to enjoy a nice drink.
